Accurate quantification of 5-mC content of various DNA samples from different species using the MethylFlash™ Global DNA Methylation (5-mC) ELISA Easy Kit. The results are closely correlated with those obtained by HPLC-MS.
So what's the difference between this new kit (#P-1030) and the previous MethylFlash kit (#P-1034)?
TheMethylFlash Easy kit, while still retaining the many advantageous features of the previous kit, utilizes a one-step ELISA reaction to eliminate the need for multiple sample and antibody binding steps. The protocol of the new kit is simplified, halving the procedure time versus the previous kit. Some adjustments were made to also reduce the CV% between wells. The greater "signal window" of the kit, along with its adjusted calculation formulas, makes it very accurate. In a nutshell, MethylFlash Easy is faster, easier, more robust, and more accurate.
